If you are a dummy and looking for a simplified explanation this is not your book. This book is a highly summarized statistical book, consisting of condensed, flowery words. I need to read another book till i am totally satisfied.
as an example, stem leaf plot was so inadequately explained that i googled it and found a better explanation.
sorry for the stars.this book deserves 3 stars the best if you are not the authors friend.

This book is not intended to teach the processes of statistics. Rather, it is a helpful guide to understanding statistics in professions where you inherit them and must be able to interperet them for use in your day to day decision making practice. i recommend the text if that is your professional need.
