A fine publication that can serve both the tyro and advanced shotgun sportsman. The members of the renowned Carlisle Fish and Game Club of central Pennsylvania lent their facilties and considerable expertise to the production of the this tome.
The scenary and "models" are extremely photogenic, the verbage thorough yet readily understood, it is a must for the library of any shotgun gamesman.

The author does a good job explaining the basics of trap and skeet. Although some may find the material too elementary, this clay shooting sports novice found the coverage of basic shotgun nomenclature along with explanations of the subject shooting sports appropriate. The page layouts and sheet size reflect the book's purpose as a subject primer.

This is probably one of the best basic introductions to Trap and Skeet shooting I have seen.
The photos of each item that go with the text, make it much easier to understand, where text alone cannot convey the details of many of the points involved.
I recommend it as an ideal introduction to clay pidgon shooting.
