This DVD is a great educational program. Everything is explained and illustrated so clearly that even a layman, such as myself, can understand. I learned a lot from watching the program. Highly recommended.

An excelent source for learning basic home electrial wiring.Good quality video with naration. Touches a littl bit on NEC codes, wire gauge, service panel and grounding. A great product for layman who want to challenge a few DIY projects in the home. Would be a great compliment to a well written book on basic wiring.

I just bought a home and have little knowledge of electricity. I have been able to save myself quite a bit of money by using this dvd. It has already paid for itself multiple times over. My home was built in 1969 so i have some updating to do. I have successfully installed a ceiling fan in the master bedroom which previously didn't have a ceiling light. it was set up where the wall switch controlled a wall socket with a lamp. I recommend this to anyone who wants to save a few bucks by doing the work yourself. You don't need expensive tools.Tools needed: Drywall saw Screwdrivers Wire strippers electrical tape/wire caps (connectors) and voltage tester (dont need an expensive one, maybe 10-20 dollars)
