5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Introductory Text!, October 7, 2011
This review is from: Basics of Industrial Hygiene (Preserving the Legacy) (Paperback)
This book was the required text for an introductory industrial hygiene course I took. The text is very easy to read and informative for someone with no or very little background in IH or occupational safety/health. The chapters are fairly well-organized, with review and critical-thinking questions at the end of each section/chapter to allow the reader to test himself. Each chapter also includes a summary of the key points for quick review. Being new to the IH/OSH field, I've learned several IH and OSH calculations and the reasoning behind them from this book, calculations that will prove beneficial for ASP/CSP exams. I highly recommend this book for those just starting out and those who would like a review of the basics before taking an exam.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not inexpensive, but a nice text for an industrial hygiene course, July 19, 2010
This review is from: Basics of Industrial Hygiene (Preserving the Legacy) (Paperback)
It is unfortunate that the only review other than mine is that of a seller who was slow or negligient in sending the book to a student. Try to save money and this can happen. The text is a great introductin to IH and Debra Nims has done a wonderful job in constructing a solid text. Very nicely done!

The review before this one is not of the text, but of a seller. This book should be five stars.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Basics of Industrial Hygiene (Preserving the Legacy) (Paperback)
I baught the product more than a month ago and to date I haven't received it. I have so many doubts on the seller today. My frustration is even higher because the course for which I baught the book has started and I don't have my textbook, my money neither. It sucks
