I am a motorcycle nut, and this book has been on my coffee table since it came out...Everybody that sits on my couch..(motorcycle nut or not) seems to enjoy going through the pages, and seeing the old bikes and parts. Thank you Andrew Bauer for taking your time, and coming up with this idea.

i had high hopes for this book, and received it for my birthday last year. i am always intrigued by bikes that have been parked and forgotten in some old barn, shed, chicken coop, or cellar. and i have brought more than a few home, over the years. an old neglected bike speaks to you. sometimes it says "leave me in peace". and so, with great expectation, i open the front cover and.... this book is a collection of pictures of parts. rusty, crusty, dented, parts. page after page. no basket cases anywhere. except on the cover. it appears to be a single trip through the a swap meet. this book should be called 'pictures of rusty motorcyle parts'. save your money

I am sorry the book did not speak to you. I've read "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maint" 3 times and watched Easy Rider and I don't get either one and I've been a bike nut my whole life. My book represents the "non-museum" quality bikes and although you may not have enjoyed it, people can go to my blogs or website (cyclearts.com) and see the excellent reviews the book has received from several great motorcycle magazines. I respect your opinion and will consider it for the next book, meanwhile, If you don't need the book, please pass it on or give it to your local library. Thanks, Andrew C. Bauer
