A good organizational and motivational tool for young coaches!,
By
This review is from: Basketball Coaches Organizational Handbook (Art & Science of Coaching) (Paperback)
I bought my copy of this book in its first edition as a young head coach. If you are buying it for X's and O's don't. If you want to learn about organizing a program and motivating players, this is a great book.
Coach Dale Brown came into the heart of SEC Football Country and built a basketball power, taking LSU to two Final Fours and setting the SEC record for beating Kentucky on Kentucky's home court. It took organization, dedication and motivation to make basketball a big sport at LSU. Coach Brown succeeded in his efforts beyond anyone's imagination, except his own probably, in achieving the plans he had to make LSU a national power in basketball. Even if you don't coach basketball but like motivational reading material, this is a good book.
