I have been a bass fisherman for thirty years and thought I pretty much knew it all. I learnt so much from this book about habitat, bait presentation time to fish and recommended rigs. The book is well written in a clear and occasionally humorous style. I have no doubt that you will read it cover to cover and then start all over again to see what you have missed. I read this at the start of last years season, using some of his techniques and caught 4 times more bass in the year than I had ever before. Now what is really surprising is that I didn't use any bait !, every single fish being taken on plugs, after I learnt the secret as to how to fish these at night..........strange but true. I think that an evening in the pub with JD would be the most riveting experience, as this is unlikely to read the book must be the next best thing..............enjoy. |
