5.0 out of 5 stars Bad Company is the best company!
JUNGLISTS! BUY THIS MIX! Fresh comes through so proper with this mix. I agree, yes the mixing was not really smooth, and yeah, the mix was sweetened up with micro-editing, but all in all, this CD is a floor-smasher! Golden Girl by MC Conrad and Makoto is simply a superb track, too easy to float away to... and the "World of Darkness"/"Ska" hybrid building into Pendulum's...

Suitable for making your car windows rattle. Will flash you back to the mid 90's with funky bass breaks. A few heart pounders that are fun if you are flying.

Not as heavy as DJ Irene or Bad Boy Bill, not even close to the mastery of Aprhodite. DJ Icey has done better with essential mixes although I'd skip his Disco Rodeo the release party was a BOMB!

Golden Girl by MC Conrad and Makoto is simply a superb track, too easy to float away to... and the "World of Darkness"/"Ska" hybrid building into Pendulum's Another Planet VIP w/Dillinja's "Fast Car" blew my mind. I was rocking out so hard in my car that I almost crashed! Very reminscent of Andy C... "anthem-itis" seems to have everyone infected. Looks like this is the trend of a new d'n'b era. Would you like extra bass with that? You need more bass... done- thanks to DJ Fresh.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a blast!, November 13, 2005

While Dieselboy's efforts at theme mixing with Project Human and The Dungeonmaster's Guide are arguably of a much higher technical standard, I have to admit that I end up listening to this CD much more. It's just so much fun!

It's rough, ready, and is constantly melodic without losing any of the d&b vibe. If you enjoyed the likes of Dungeonmaster's Guide but longed for more melody and less noise then you have to get this. What a corker.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Quality CD by DJ Fresh and Human Imprint, March 5, 2005
This review is from: Bass Invaderz (Audio CD)
First off, the track listing on Amazon is whacked out. It should be:

1. Intro

2. DJ Fresh - X Project

3. Subfocus - X Ray

4. DJ Fresh - Living Daylights

5. Total Science - Nosher (Baron Remix)

6. MC Conrad & Makato - Golden Girl

7. Calibre & Singing Fats - Drop it Down

8. Artificial Intelligence - The Uprising (VIP)

9. Intermission

10. DJ Fresh - Floodlight

11. Fierce & Moving Fusion - Now's the Time

12. Drumsound & Simon Bassline Smith - Crossfire (Danger)

13. Total Science - Westside Story

14. DJ Hazard - World of Darkness/DJ Zinc - Ska

15. Pendulum - Another Planet/Dillinja - Fast Car

16. Baron & DJ Fresh - Supernature/DJ Fresh & Swift - Play Me (Swift & Blame Mix)

Anyways, this is overall a great album worth getting. Even though Fresh didn't really pull off the "theme" mixing as well as Dieselboy does, it was still a great album with plenty of energetic tunes. No matter how many times I hear Living Daylights in a mix, I still love it. If you can, get this, it's IMO better than the Red Mix (which is also a great mix).

5.0 out of 5 stars It really gets my heart rate up., August 22, 2009

The album has good tracks for the gym. I really like to hear it when I am at tread mill because it makes me to push harder. My favourite tracks are X-Ray and X-Project. They are like cartoon tracks, I love them. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it is not available for downloading in the UK site as MP3. (Bad Amazon)

5.0 out of 5 stars im having a goodtime too ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaa, April 9, 2006
This review is from: Bass Invaderz (Audio CD)
Its a pretty good mix, good song choices, its mostly a harder mix, thought it could be smoother flowing though, but all in all its pretty good, also thought the robot walk to the party deal woulda made a better begining, it was a lot of down time during the middle of the cd, but hey people gotta switch it up now and then, like the last 3/4s better....
