Bass isn't Bass any longer
on January 25, 2014
I have been wearing these shoes now since I was forced to dress up for church on Sunday morning as a kid. I'm now almost 50 years old. Needed a new pair, and purchased them on-line. They arrived and the quality of the leather is cheap and I couldn't even get my foot into them. I have worn a size 8.5D since I was a teen ager. The nice thing, or so I thought, is that I wouldn't have to try them on. I bought them for an out of state wedding and due to time constraints, had them shipped directly to the hotel to be held for my arrival. Convinced my socks were too thick and in desperation, I ran across the street from my hotel to a Nordstrom to buy a pair of men's ultra thin hosier. That didn't work either. So back to Norstroms again I went to now buy a new pair of shoes. Very disappointing. Quality is cheap, leather is hard and unforgiving and I'm totally bummed Bass has sold out. No longer worth the money. I thought I would be buried in a pair of these.
