I bought these in black and white to wear to a 50s party. I wanted something like saddle shoes, but a little different. Holy cow! EVERYONE stopped me to ask where I got them! Honestly....people I did not know stopped me to tell me they were "drooling" over my shoes!(and when I said "amazon.com" everyone that knows me replied "of course, where else would YOU have gotten them!?" ha ha!)

I wore them with little thin socks and a circle skirt and it was really cute. They are leather (man-made sole) and the heels aren't crazy high so I could dance in them all evening. They fit true to size, maybe slightly narrow in the toe area, but not really as small as a true "narrow" size. I like them so much that I am going to wear them here and there with non-fifties clothes! Definitely one of my favorite shoe purchases (and there are probably too many of those!) in a long, long time.

I receive many compliments when I step out on the scene in these shoes. To my surprise, a lot of tweens and teens love these shoes. I receive praise and accolades from the people age 8 to 80...... They fit true to size, provide all day comfort, and you can easily transfer from day to night.....

I ordered a pair in both black and brown. They run true to size and are sharp looking. A classy / dressy twist on the standard flat saddle shoe

These shoes are are absolutely adorable! They are the grown-up version of my beloved childhood saddle shoes. I got the basic black and white version and sized up a 1/2 size so I can wear them with socks. These are definitely TTS.

To be honest, I haven't worn these too many times because of the lousy rainy weather we've been having. I don't want to get the white front dirty and scuffed looking, although I could always break out the white polish (like I did years ago).

I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly comfortable these shoes feel. The padded insole, low heel and flexible sole make these feel heavenly! These can easily be worn for long periods of time and would be perfect for a pain-free night of dancing. A really well-made, high quality shoe for a very reasonable price. Great purchase!

LOVE this shoe! No complaints at all. This is one of my happiest of many happy online purchases! True to size, comfortable, well-made, and absolutely adorable. I really love the shape of the shoe, the aesthetic balance of the saddle to the toe and heel, and the cut of the opening. It is very flattering and manages to be much more authentically retro rather than just retro-inspired in appearance. Love, love, love...Looking for more Bass brand takes on vintage footwear. Yay!

I originally bought these shoes from Nordstrom and the shoes had a defect, needless to say, I returned them. I bought the same shoes from Amazon and in perfect condition (no defects).

They arrived and fit well. They are so classic and stylish I was giddy the first time I saw them.

These shoes are just the stylish thing to put on with a pair of shorts or capri jeans. I love the way they fit too! My feet are kind of wide across the ball of my foot and I've got low arches. These make my feet look narrower without pinching in the toes and have good support. I feel really sassy when I put them on.

I was on a waitlist last year to get these shoes and they came in time for Halloween. The oxfords completed my Janelle Monáe costume and I was literally stopped on the street several times with questions about these shoes. So very easy to dance in; plus I was the hit of the party!
