This is such a great book. Every Basset owner should have one. Very informative, lots of info on the breeed, common medical issues, and training tips. Everything you would ever want and need to know about Basset Hounds is in this book.

Dog breed books come and go in various guises year in, year out. This one leaps out from the pack. Excellent advice, excellent breed facts, wonderful photos & illustrations. Much better than the animal planet books, the terra nova series really gets into the basset hound and what it takes to own one. Great source of information if you are considering the basset.
