If you have ever wondered how to fish a "carolina rig" or a "sluggo" or a number of other techniques, this is the book for you. I had a hard time putting the book down.

Overall good collection of tips from pro bass fisherman on top bass fishing techniques. Material includes personal bio's, equipment to use, fishing conditions, weather and seasonal patterns. Unfortunately, in several techniques, such as Carolina Rig fishing, the focus was uneven with more written on equipment than its use. After reading the material several times, I was still left wondering how to retrieve a Carolina rigged bait.

When I read this book I was quickly reminded of the importance of paying attention to detail. Bassing With The Best is a very imformative book to both the experienced and inexperienced angler. The novice learns some sound basics and the more seasoned angler is reminded of some very important details he or she may have forgot. The book is also entertaining and the bios about each pro is good but a litte too breif. I would definitly recomend it though to anyone interested in bass fishing.

The author also heads up BASS instructional courses held through out the country where he has the nation's top pros giving seminars. Not surprisingly, he has the edge on what is important to know, and how to teach it. A very informative book. Recently moved and cleared out some of the useless fishing books in my library. This is one I kept.

Really enjoyed this one. Learning tactics from successful specialists in those tactics is invaluable.

I am wondering if there are more little details that i can get about walley fishing and the littlest things there is to know when you are fishing in high waters in rivers.
