Product Description

Deep tubs can pose a problem for short people or youngsters, when trying to stand up. Even with non?slip accessories on the bottom, the reach and grip can be difficult, particularly for the elderly. Make your bath and bathroom safer with a bath safety grip handle for the side of the tub. This handy feature allows for a secure grip by any size hand, and is designed to make a comfortable hold for those with arthritis. Provide that extra stability and security that your family needs for their own safety, with this easily mounted handle that detaches and packs away for travel, too. Suction attach, no tools necessary. Fits any tub/shower. 12 inches long. Each suction foot is 3 inches in diameter. Handle is 1 inch wide for easy gripping.

Safety First March 12, 2008
INSTANT BATH TUB SHOWER SAFETY GRIP SUCTION HANDLE This product is very unsafe. Even when you believe it is secure, over time it releases itself. Usually, you would purchase this item to assist personal stability under, what can be, dangerous conditions. The unreliability and tile limitations associated with this product make it a poor choice. Value your personal safety and look for a more permanent solution for safety grip needs in bathroom areas. Value the safety of your family and self and do not purchase this grip.

Great idea, if it worked March 24, 2008
This safety handle would be great if it worked. It would not work on tile because the groves between the tiles made the seal not work. I put it on the tub which worked until the shower steam made the seal release. I tried it many times and never could get it to stay.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I would urge customers not to purchase this product based upon our experience. When we received the "safety" bar we read the easy instructions and made sure that the grip was fastened appropriately with the red side showing - indicating it was locked. However, when ny elderly grandmother attempted to use it to get out of the tub it came right off the wall. She is a tiny woman weighing only 98 lbs. Had her helper not been with her she would have fallen and certainly injured herself seriously. If you are someone who can withstand a fall then by all means purchase. Otherwise, please get something more permanent.

Do not buy!
This suction cup "safety" bar is a lawsuit waiting to happen. It doesn't stick to the wall very well, or for very long, and I don't trust it. Read more

The perfect safety bar.. because....
This safety bar has "alerts" on both ends that lets you know if it ever needs to be re-suctioned. The shower wall I placed it on is a smooth surface (fiberglass) stall. Read more

It does work, but with all suction devices, check on a regular basis
This product tells you do not use with your full weight. This is strictly to give stability. I use this in and out of the shower, but I do not put my full weight on it. Read more

suction does not work
This object is a safety hazard and not a help - do not buy it. It should not even be on the market for safety.

NOT RELIABLE
This product is lousy. When you are considering how important it is for a person's safety and well being to have safe handles to rely upon, do NOT consider this product.
