Workman Publishing wants Sandy Boynton's fans (who are legion) to know that we deeply regret the production problems that afflicted the first printing of BATH TIME (2007) - and we want them to know that these problems were corrected in subsequent printings. We moved the production to a different manufacturer; the inks now are fine, the covers now are fine, and the contents remain deserving of five oinks. If you take a look at the Amazon comments for BARNYARD BATH - which was released in 2008, a year after BATH TIME - you'll see that there are no complaints. Only praise. The quality problems have been solved. You can order BATH TIME and BARNYARD BATH today with confidence that the books will hold up.

This was a great fun book for the first few baths. Then the ink started to come off. Then the pages came apart. Great idea, poorly executed.

I bought Bath Time! from Amazon two weeks ago. The book is cute, but the cover has already fallen off (in two weeks!). I called the publisher to ask for a replacement, but no one has returned my call. I would recommend going with something else, like Quacky and Hoppy (ISBN 0764193775) which is super cute and much higher quality.

Like other Boynton books, Bath Time is cute and catchy. My daughter loved to read it in the tub; however, after just a couple months' use, the cover separated from the rest of the book and the text and images are flaking off. Sadly, we are throwing it away.

My son loves all the Boyton books, so his Grandma picked up this bathtub book that can get wet. Its just lovely and my husband has used it during every bath time.

Do not buy this book, like the other reviews said the ink comes off and if you baby is like mine and puts everything in his mouth that means he is eating the ink! We haven't even put it in the tub and it is falling apart. Could be a health hazard to babies!

I bought this for my 2 year old. He read it once with me when we opened it, and once for his bath, and not ever again. It is boring to him, and frankly I am very dissapointed in it. I am a fan of the Boynton books I own almost every one of them, and was quick to pre-order, I wish I would have waited and looked at first when it came out. Save your money and spend it on a different book.

For some reason, I wasn't able to rate this item as 5 stars because I couldn't click on the 5th start. This book is great for my 6th month old baby who loves smushing up the pages and putting them in her mouth. It is great in the bath tub and in regular play. The text is big and it has a cute rhyming story which is more than most bath books. The squeaker at the end is too cute. Perhaps I got a better shipment than some of the reviewers on here who said theirs fell apart. Mine hasn't had a problem yet and I hope it doesn't!

We've had this book for almost a year and my one year old daughter LOVES it! We read it to her in the bath every night. It has faded a bit but has not fallen apart as other people mentioned. If it had, we would have bought a new one!

My 15 month old son loves this bath book. He loves books in general, so when I saw this book I bought it for his one year birthday. He loves it!!! We read it in the bath every night. He loves to point at the pig and the pictures of the toys on the second page. It also has a squeaker in it, and he loves when I squeak it when we get to the last page. It is a short book, but he is not bored by it. He likes to play with it in the bath along with his other bath toys. And it is good quality - we have had no problems with it coming apart, and we use it in the bath every night.
