I bought this 2 months ago to use in the shower as a shaving bench. I finished it with teak oil before getting it wet (just for added protection), and it looked fantastic. So far, I have seen no signs of damage to the wood from being in the shower. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The product looks good. It was not easy to put together as the screws were kind of cheap and would not go in smoothly. I didn't personally have the hand strength to use the drill bit attachment so I had my husband finish putting it together. Fits perfectly in my shower. It's just what I wanted. Then I sat down on it and found that my flesh pokes through those narrow little slats that let the water drain through. So, I lay a hand towel over it and it works just fine.

I was disappointed with the quality of the teak wood because of the amount of knots. also the Aluminum is mat finish not brushed.
