Very happy with this. I had one years ago, but haven't been able to find one in the stores since then. Works exactly like it's supposed to. I can mix the tap water to the temp I want, flip the lever to soap up or brush, and because the dripping keeps the water from changing temp, it's exactly right when I flip it back on. Between the lever and the low-flow, this product is doing exactly what I wanted, which is to *Save Money* I would have spent on water and gas for heating it. Yay!

We added a faucet and shower reducer to help save money. We noticed it really helps to use this device. It works well. You get a good flow rate of water when it is not in use. It is quality made. Cheap way to save money on your water bill.

I've had a flow control aerator on my kitchen sink faucet for years but have never been able to find one with the smaller diameter to fit my bathroom sink until now. I'm not sure why, but I've never been able to find one locally in any hardware store.

Installation was a snap. I simply unscrewed the aerator on my Peerless faucet, inserted the thin gasket into the top of this control valve, and screwed the valve into place. It functions properly with no leaks. Now I get to control the flow without having to change the temperature. The reduction in flow rate is only noticeable when you run the water to get it hot, as it will take longer. Other than that it is a nice soft aerated flow.

Be aware, however, this valve may add up to 2 inches to the end of your faucet, so if you have a low flat faucet spout and a fairly shallow sink this may be an issue for you when you try to put something like a tall cup under it.

Bottom line
Highly recommended.

The faucet aerator on a bathroom sink faucet was leaking. I could have fixed it with just a new O-Ring but I decided to upgrade the aerator with one that reduced the total water flow, that is, would save on water consumption. I saw this aerator which also has a quick-flip lever to turn the water flow on or off, so I gave this one a try. It is a 1.0 Gallons Per Minute aerator while most bathroom faucet aerators are rated to allow 3 or more GPM. These days they are also available from between 0.5 to 2.2 GPM for those who want to save on their water bill. I think for a bathroom faucet a GPM in the range of 1.0 to 2.2 is ideal... my opinion, of course. Getting back to this specific faucet aerator, it is a standard sized aerator which fits MOST but not necessarily all bathroom water faucets - it fit mine - it works great and I am quite pleased with it. Works as advertised, looks reasonably nice and so far works well, for a reasonable price.

They slow down the flow of water too much, otherwise they work fine. It takes longer to get to the hot water.

I had one of these growing up, and loved it. Especially with the two handled faucet. I purchased this one, and I do like it. The only con, and it may not even be a con, it that the water pressure stays the same no matter how much you turn the handles, and there is less flow. Though both of these work for water conservation, so it works for us. Just a little getting used to. And now I don't use as much water!

These work great and once you get accustomed to using them, you will feel lost without them. They save so much water.

I only needed extension that fits between the aerator and the faucet as a modification for another application. Getting the 1.0 gpm low flow was a plus. The one caveat is that the lever to close the water flow does not completely shut off the water flow. In the OFF position water still dribbles out. Bad production run or bad design?
