5.0 out of 5 stars Best song off "Return of Saturn", November 5, 2000

This review is from: Bathwater (Audio CD)
"Bathwater" is a great song. It is the type of song you have to sing along with and dance to. No Doubt is a tight band with great drums and wicked bass. This song stay true to their ska roots by having great horns. The song reflect on girls who like bad boys. A theme many can relate too. "Why do good girls always want the bad boy" Gwen says. It has an incredibly catchy tune and is soon to become a favorite of yours. The video is extra sexy and you can catch it on mtv, along with Gwen's new blond hair. No Doubt has also performed "Bathwater" on MAD TV and on a recent awards show.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soak Up Bathwater, December 18, 2000
This review is from: Bathwater (Audio CD)
"Bathwater" returns No Doubt to their ska roots. The song is resplended with horns, a thumping bass, pounding drums and a superb, kittenish vocal performance from Gwen Stefani. The song is catchy and swims right along. The bouncy sound lightens up the lyrics which are about a girl obsessed with a man who ignores her. Another great song from No Doubt who, if they keep this incredibly high standard up, will go down as one of the best American bands of the last twenty years.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great song, NO DOUBT, September 5, 2004
This review is from: Bathwater (Audio CD)
This is one of my favorite No Doubt songs! It's the third single off their catchy 'Return of Saturn' CD. The disc not only comes with 'Bathwater', but it also comes with 'Beauty Contest', 'Under Construction', and an acoustic version of 'Ex Girlfriend'! This is one great CD!

4.0 out of 5 stars No Doubt-Bathwater, January 21, 2002

The third single from the band's 2000 album Return Of Saturn. "Bathwater" is as ska and pop as "Spiderwebs" and "Excuse Me Mr.", but somehow not as memorable. Although its not as strong as past songs, its still No Doubt all the way.
