5.0 out of 5 stars Another terrific batik book, March 7, 2010
This review is from: Batik: 75 Selected Masterpieces: The Rudolf G. Smend Collection (Paperback)
After I bought the Rudolf Smend's book "Batik from the Courts of Java and Sumatra", I just had to have more examples from his excellent collection. Collectively his books and Elliot's book "Batik Fabled Cloth of Java" represent for me a thorough discourse on the subject, textually and visually.
