Fourth in series does Fine,

The third of fourth in DK's junior guidebooks to the WB's animated series follows the similar format as the previous ones. Like the others, Mr. Beatty does a fine job in picking the illustrations from the comic book stories from the programs, but a few more captions from the actual show would have been appreciated.
Still, it's fun and colorful. And considering that sometimes the regular full priced guidebooks can have some content that some adults might object to, this text is eye-catching and can introduce the younger readers to the less complicated animated series history. I do wish the book had a few more pages to explain things a bit more, but it's great for what it is. Though the Batman Beyond series isn't currently being shown on cable, but can be caught on DVD, this guidebook is a great way for the kids to introduce themselves into the world of Batman Beyond. ---JThree
