4 year old boy AND girl twins LOVE this book!,

Both of my kids, a boy and a girl, 4 years old, cannot get enough of this book! Graphics are great and it's just cool enough -- but not too scary -- for them to think they are really into the bigger kid super hero action stuff. Would highly recommend it. Off to search Amazon for others in the series now!

this book is a little choppy in its presentation of all the players. my boys, however, think it is excellent and could reread the 'baseball card-style' information presented about each bad guy over and over again. thankfully, there is a brief story line so i get something out of it as well. The Batman never truly disappoints.

In this edition, all of Bat's classic villains escape from Arkham Asylum, orchestrated by The Joker, and it's up to him and the Boy Wonder to round them all up and put 'em back where they belong before they can carry out too many misdeeds in Gotham City. All of the BATMAN series in this set are good fun, easy to read, and the art is quite good, definitely up-to-par with what I've seen in the comic books (sometimes better). My five-year-old son loves these books; he even keeps them in his backpack and takes them to his preschool. His teacher has looked at them and appreciates them, too. The problems Batman faces in them are more about problem-solving and outwitting the villains than giving them a left hook to the eye or a Batarang to the chin (there's no "POW! SOCK! WHAMMO!" like in the good ol' Adam West days).

Holy Comic Book Wonder! My grandsons aged 4 and 5 can't get enough of this book. They are mini-super heroes in the making. Eyes wide with wonder and excitment as these are being read by whoever will oblige them. Great story and terrifically illustrated.
