This figure is very nicely done and articulated.

All of the 1966 Batman figures have been really good, but Catwoman is my favorite of the line so far.

This figure is a very good likness of the Julie Newmar Catwoman from the tv series.

Okay - so I bought this shamelessly for myself for Christmas. I admit it. I love quirk. My little gem arrived, as usual, ridiculously quick (Amazon Prime is THA' BOMB!!!). I almost felt bad defiling the package to free her - but I did and I can't take it back now. I have her in my Dome (my "girl's only" room). I'm the only girl in the house besides my dog, and no male here truly knows what I want! So. I buy my own, and they wrap it for me - hahahah!

Anyway. She's cute, typical tiny (5 to 6 inches tall). She truly is of the classic Batman genre with a face like Julie Newmar...so dang cute! And yes, she is pose-able, but not as easily as you'd think. She is double jointed in the legs and arms, so posing is a rubics cube. I didn't break her so that's a plus. At the moment she's climbing my Everest rock in my bookshelf - but I'm thinking she needs to venture out -- possibly swing from the ceiling fan for a while (or hang from the chain?)...see how long it takes the men in this house to notice she's stalking them.

(Note to self --- buy a chandelier)

If I get the gumption I'll post pics later.

Recommendation.....buy her! rawr...

As usual, I'm writing a review to cancel the 1-star review of regular Amazon troll Chris Mattews. That jerk doesn't even wait until there's a review up for the product before making a fake review that's neither funny nor useful, so now the product has a completely undeserved low score.

Edit: well, I finally have the figure on my hands, and I have to say, it's beautiful. It is a little different from the stock pictures, though, although that's always expected. The major obvious difference is that "kitty doesn't have claws". From the different stock pictures up there, one has painted-on golden claws and the other one has actual claws protruding from the fingers. None are present in the actual figure (at least my copy). You can see the detail of the nails on the glove, but they're not painted, so it's almost like she's wearing regular black gloves.

Still, the figure looks fantastic. The Julie Newmar's likeness is great. The detail on the eyes is particularly well done, and the figure has its good share of articulation points. The one con I find in the figure is that it's really, REALLY hard to stand on its own. Yes, just like the other ones, the figure comes with a stand, but if you, like me, are a fan of taking pictures of the figures in heroic/silly poses, you're going to have a hard time. And, of course, the figure doesn't have any accessory, but it's the same for all the others in the series, so it's not unexpected.

I am so glad they patterned their Catwoman after Julie Newmar. No offense to Lee Merriwether or Eartha Kitt, but Julie IS Catwoman. If she hadn't been doing "McKenna's Gold" at the time, she'd have been in the Batman Movie. Shame. The perfect companion to the Penguin, Riddler and Joker figures.

So here I am excited to receive Catwoman to give to my wife and then I noticed, gee, this box looks awfully small. So I opened it. Its a small box because they just crammed the entire figure in a small box by folding the card back all around the blister to fit... seriously Amazon? Otherwise the figure is really cool. Collectors beware. Save yourselves the headache.

Not exactly what I was hoping for and I can't put my finger on why. However, I highly recommend it if you are a collector! Looks nice on display with the rest of the Batman 1966 Classic t.v. show figures series. Recommended!!! A

Just a heads up warning to people purchasing this item for a gift or collectablity. I just recieved my Catwoman Batman TV Series figure in a box that was too small for the item which bent, rolled and damaged the card starting at the top of the bubble holding the figure and the sides. This is ridiculous considering I paid $25 for a seller FULLFILLED/SHIPPED BY AMAZON because Amazon was out of stock at the time. I'm tired of playing Amazons shipping games of returning items because it will more than likely happen again as in the past with several books I've received.

As far as the toy itself, the paint job/face sculpt is a little less Julie Newmar looking that the photos on Amazon but I'm happy they finally made one. Wish they would make an Eartha Kitt Catwoman figure and other fun characters from the TV series but sadly I've heard this is the last figure of the toy line.

I really wanted to love this figure but she has some large flaws. Her head is not the best sculpt (I can deal with that). Her hands can't really be posed well. I don't demand super articulation but this figure is below par and her hands are stuck in an awkward pose. Finally her legs are awkward right down to her boots that are so thin at the bottom that she can't stand without her base. I am happier with the joker, riddler, and penguin. She looks nice on my shelf but I find myself constantly trying to find a better pose for her.

I received this as a gift for a friend and I was disappointed to see that the best details didn't match up. The figure I received had no makeup and the nails weren't painted gold as they are in the photo shown. I understand that these are small details, but my friend would have appreciated them. It's still an okay figure, but I wish I knew that the paint job would vary. I would recommend to a friend, just don't expect the details to completely be there.
