This costume has a fabric that is pretty lightweight, but so far (after two months) it has held up remarkably well. That it is lightweight means my son can wear the cape and run around the house and yard even when it is sunny and warm. The mask is heavier rubber-type material like the belt. I recommend buying a little larger than you think you need. All costumes run small and no harm is done if it is a little too big. For Trick-or-Treating we'll be able to layer a big sweatshirt under the costume.
I may buy more super hero dress-ups/costumes and have a theme party. Girls get to do the fun princess stuff, tea parties,and such that this is a great way to have a 'boy' dress-up party.

My 4yo son loves this costume! Runs on the small side. I ordered a size small 4-6 and it just fits him. Would reccommend ordering 1 size up.

We got it for our 3 year old son. He absolutly loves it. He wears it almost everyday. I have to pry it off him to wash it. It's survived the macheine several times. It didn't shrink when washing. It fits him good. The velcro on the mask isn't the greatest but it's easy to fix. (just buy some velcro haha).

So the picture shows a costume with a cape that is the length of the entire costume, and a utility belt that is bright and yellow. This is way wrong. The cape is 1/4 the size of the costume, and hardly even fits on it. The belt part is all faded and doesn't look anything like the picture. The costume is fine, don't get me wrong, I just don't like being shown one thing, then sold something much different. This Rubies company seems a little shady to me and I'll not buy from them again.

Got the costume in medium size for my skinny 6 year old. First costume arrived with a broken mask. Amazon took care of it immediately. Great costume and mask. My son had a lot of fun and looked good in it. He was able to wear some warm clothing underneath the costume and had a great Halloween!

First off, my son LOVES wearing this outfit. Seeing that joy made it worth the cost. However, it is a bit big and he is in 3T. When it arrived, there was a hole in it in the back, but I was unable to return it as he had already seen it and it was the day of Halloween. Wanted to contact seller, but had a hard time finding contact detail other than return in order details and didn't want to return after he wore it. He has worn it a lot since then and the detail on the arm has torn now too. He still wants to wear it but wants a new one now....

i loved it i was perfect size for my 2 year old. i was a little worried since hes bigger than most kids his age but it fit perfect. hes a huge batman fan so i originally ordered it for halloween but he pretty much wears it whenever he wants.

Every morning since it arrived I've heard "Is it Halloween yet?" My 4yr old son is very excited about this costume. He LOVES the mask! His only disappointment is the "muscles are paint" He wanted them to be 3D. Otherwise it fits well, will have room for warm layers under the costume. (live in MN) Not sure how it will hold up to daily use, but it will be tested daily after Oct 31 to be sure!

Got this for my four year old for Halloween and dress-up. He absolutely loves it. The fit is great and as soon as he put it on he ran to the bathroom, stepped up on his stool, and looked in the mirror and said "I am Batman". It was too cute. Would definitely recommend this costume to any mother whose kid loves Batman.

This outfit looks realistic.The mask is built strong.My son has even slept in the costume and it didn't tear.
