Well first of all I have to say that I really like this figure. The clothes are really well done as well as other stuff like the accessories. The price was pretty easy on the pocket (well not now), and it's made very well over-all. But now here comes the gripes. The head sculpt is argued against the Hot Toys version all of the time, with people saying that the DC direct version is more accurate. That may be true due to the fact, DC took a head scan of Leger so it's really hard to beat that. But where they messed up royally is the paint (and the hair sculpt even though I can live with it)that was applied. It is too perfect, and kind of misses the point of being realistic like in the movie. The Hot Toys figure definately has it beat in that department. Well to tell you the truth, the Hot Toys has this figure beat on just about every avenue, BUT, I really think this figure was a huge step for DC direct. It is pure quality! It's just not as upscale as the Hot Toys version. But then again, you're not spending a million dollars on it either, like you do with the Hot Toys. I put the figures side by side and think the Hot Toys version is far superior, but I really dig the DC Direct one alot. If you can ,get them both. But in a realistic world, you might not be able to. This figure rocks really hard and hold tons of potential for repaints to make him look alot cooler. It is worth getting, and I am still very impressed, just not as impressed as with the Hot Toys. IT IS A GREAT TOY, TRUST ME!!!!

It's a cool collectors item if you really like the joker. The one thing that I didn't like was that the collard shirt and tie were not the same colors as the one pictured. The collard shirt is closer to purple than the original blue, and the tie is a a bit different along with the vest being a bit darker. There are no socks, and I don't believe it has the belt either. Basically the Hot toys has the better details that I was looking for.
Overall it's something nice to have and keep over time and worth it if you're looking to have a collectors item..

After all the hoopla and price-gouging of the "Movie Masters" Joker figure comes the REAL DEAL, a true collector's item. The "Movie Masters" Joker is cool in its own right, but this 1/6 scale DC Direct Joker blows it out of the water. $89 is no pocket change but then again, one must pay $40-$50 at eBay to get the "Movie Masters" Joker if they can't find it in stores, which is usually the case. And I'm no expert on action figure values, but I don't think one must be to conclude that this DC Direct Joker will end up being a lot more valuable in the future than the "Movie Masters" Joker.

In terms of detail, there is simply no comparison. This Joker even has real shoelaces, and his clothes are of a high-quality fabric. There are many cool "extras" accessories like a gun, knife and playing cards. I just watched the trailer for "The Dark Knight" again and I'm amazed as to how this figure looks exactly like Heath Ledger's Joker.

As tempting as it is to take it out of the box, I'd strongly recommend not doing so and keeping it mint. The accessories can be lost pretty easily as they're so small and besides, a figure of this value is probably better off not opened anyway (it can be very proudly displayed inside the box due to the excellent packaging).

All in all, a great investment for any fan of The Batman franchise/Joker/Heath Ledger.

This is an excellent product. I know this may sound funny, but I actually had bough this for my mother for Christmas last year. What can I say my mother loves The Dark Knight and in particular Heath Ledger's character of the Joker.

This figure is true to life. It looks very much like Heath Ledger as the Joker. You don't have to play with it, but it is highly flexible. You can pose him in various ways. The figure also has a knife, a gun, and his joker masks. To say the least it is not really a toy for kids; but the avid collector.

So get it. It's fun to have.

There is a lot of comparisons to this and the Hot Toys Joker. If you simply look at value (this one is amazing and costs at least half the price), this is a no-brainer.
I've drooled over the Hot Toys one ever since I laid eyes on pictures of it. This Joker provides me the ability to own a Dark Night Joker replica without spending a small fortune on it.
The packaging is really cool as it comes in a display box and each part (additional hands, guns, knives, and trading cards) has it's own spot. The stand that comes with him is durable and I'm not worried about him tipping over.
Visually this figure is amazing and a sight to behold when you first open the box. At 13" tall, this figure isn't tiny, and there are subtle details, like the individual joker cards, 1 missing vest button, etc, to make this figure a treasure.
Own a replica of one of the greatest villians in cinema history!

As a long time fan of Batman I have purchase a number of collectible action figures. After the release of The Dark Knight I began my search for figures to add to my collection. After a searching for a few months I finally purchase The Joker 1:6 Scale Collector Figure and to my surprise it is a fantastic rendition of the character. The figure is nice and solid, the fabric of the clothing is nice and durable. The detail on the figure itself is stunning, it captures Heath Ledger's image 100%. The accessories are a nice touch and allow for different display options.

Overall this is a great item to collect if you are a fan of Batman, The Dark Knight, or great actions figures in general. A must buy.

For me, if your going to buy somthing over $20 you have to know what your dealing with because it's a bummer when it breaks (I had some other past collector items do this to me). So what I did was do a lot of research and came up with 90% positive! So I went ahead and bought the figure, he's soooo cool! Athough he comes with 3 knives (Dagger, Kitchen, and Kbar) he dosen't come with the one in the movie, (I don't really care though). He also comes with his bank heist mask that he wore in the begining of the movie. The 3 interchangable hands he comes with are in order (fists, holding items, and completely open). The gun is highly detailed with a cocking feature, loadable clip, movable hammer, and a pullable trigger. His loafers are laced and are removable. His top half of clothes consist of (Purple over coat, Grey coat, Vest, and under shrit with tie). This wonderful set also includes 15 of his playing cards. Each have the original backing, and each have their own pictures on the front. The main problem I have with figures is their joints breaking. His leg joints are ok but will probably break if not careful. Overall I think he was a really great purchase.

As the review before said, this DC Direct Joker really does blow the Movie Masters Joker out of the water. Very Detailed figure, especially the face which has a close resemblance to Heath Ledger. It has the shirt, tie, vest, jacket, and over coat all made of very nice material which are all nicely sewn. Comes with really neat accessories as well, 3 pairs of gloves, 3 different knifes, 3 different cards, a hand gun with a removable clip, and a clown mask, also comes with a stand. Ive seen the Hot Toys Joker and I must say for the price this Joker is much better, same goes for the Movie Masters Joker, I mean come on people are paying over a hundred dollars for the movie masters joker and I was able to get this DC Direct Joker for 74.99 and the value of these figures doesn't even compare. IMO the Movie Masters Joker doesn't really look all the much like joker in the movie well it is definitely better then any of the other 6 inch joker figures that they are putting out, and I would love to pick one up if it wasnt for the price but the DC Direct Joker gives you everything for your money. I cant recommend this figure more, if your interested in a toy figure of the Joker from the Dark Knight film pick this one up, you will not be disappointed.

This is an amazing collectible. The costume is very detailed and smooth. It doesn't seem like cheap fabric at all. It has the over coat, the undercoat, the vest, the tie, the shirt, the pants, and shoes. It has three different sets of hands, 3 knives (on dagger, one kitchen knife, and one k-bar combat knife.) It has a Henchmen mask, and it has a pistol with a removable mag (clip) and an active slide on the pistol as well. He also comes with SEVERAL joker cards (all sized to him not actual 1:1 scale). Also the doll stands on his own very easily. I have no use for the stand for him because he stands so well on his own already. He is very articulate as well. This doll is very nice. He holds his own against the Hot Toys version. My problem with the hot toys version is that he is also expensive, but he is also exclusive to Asia. So you would have to pay a ridiculous price on ebay or to import. Very nice doll, see pictures. Must have, but would only recommend to collectors because he is very expensive and shouldn't be damaged by kids. (very durable but alot of kids chew on their toys and stuff). also, if you have a local Hastings store they do carry him. that is where I found him and he was the standard 89.99 So if you dont want to pay shipping or are like me and do not like to wait for shipping I suggest checking hastings.

This product is absolutely AMAZING! The detail is wonderful and it looks SO MUCH like the real character! I highly recommend it!
