Batman now made by Mattel,

Finally the new Mattel non animated action figures are starting to become available. The Four Horsemen Sculpt is good, but I honestly expected more in both the articulation & the overall color variants. It is the best 6" scale Batman since the 1998 Hasbro version and having some articulation is better than none.The Mattel packaging leaves much to be desired but that will only matter to the collector, those of us who play with our action figures don't keep the package. I hope that Mattel does not release ridiculous Batman costumes (this is close enough). We know that Batman is the Man when it comes to gadgets but I really don't think that he changes his outfit several times per crime fighting shift. Mattel needs to stick to the basics and concentrate on continuing the improvement of the articulation and the ability to FUNCTIONALLY use the accessories which are made for use with this line. |
