I have dozens of superhero statues and busts, and I can honestly say this is the most beautiful in my collection. Even though this isn't cold cast resin or porcelain (it's hard rubber), the detail in it is amazing. The colors are perfect, and the way his cape flows around him makes it look like you're staring at Batman caught in a moment in time as he is about to deliver a pounding to the Joker or something.

To me, I don't see the material of this as a bad thing. The cape is so detailed and flowing that it would be far too fragile if it were anything else. And in honesty, you can't tell what it's made of until you touch it. The statue is heavy and comes with a black stand to mount it on. This definitely looks as good as anything Bowen or Diamond Select has ever put out (if not better). I highly recommend getting one while you can.

Wow. This statue is absolutely incredible. Large, intimidating, and gorgeous to boot. If you're just to have 1 figure/statue of Batman, this is the one. An essential for any Batman fan. Well worth the money.

I bought this statue for my boyfriend's birthday and he loves me more because of it! It is even cooler looking in person! I was at NYC Comic Con and didn't see even one of these available...so I guess it is hard to come by!

The Best Kotobukiya has to offer. Actually, the best statue anybody has to offer. Well sculpted. Perfect collors. Dynamic position. Light but resistent. A must have for fans. Never saw a better bat figure around. If you got one of these, your a blessed fan.

this was bought as a present for me, the detail is very good and the statue looks great on display. service from the seller was very good too. overall alot of money but well worth it. god bless the usa.

This is a great looking statue that smells horrible if it gets warm. I bought this statue and had to get rid of it just a few weeks after purchase. When it originally came to the house, it smelled just like hot rubber usually smells. But I figured the smell was only due to the fact that it had been sitting in the back of a hot delivery truck all day and it would eventually go away. Well, it didn't. Every day I would come home to my apartment smelling like hot vinyl. The smell was so strong, I'd have to open my windows to try and air it out and it would give me pounding headaches.

It's too bad this wasn't a cold cast porcelain statue, because it's really great looking. But the choice of vinyl just really kills this unless you're planning on storing it in a freezer.

I have this piece, and as the others have said, it's gorgeous. However it is nowhere near worth $999. Not when on average, you can get it everywhere else for one tenth that. The only possible excuse for such a ridiculous price is that it's a typo.
