So call me noob but I'm not familiar with Brian K. Vaughan. I'm not biased one way or another on his work. I just read this because it was a Batman book. I found it a very entertaining read.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad and Boring
When I saw the name of Brian K. Vaughan I thought the stories would be good, besides having two important heroes, but no way. The stories are boring and slow go. I'd like to know who has drawn this. ¿Kids? I can't believe DC Comics has published this disastrous story and they way they're treated. Save your money.

So call me noob but I'm not familiar with Brian K. Vaughan. I'm not biased one way or another on his work. I just read this because it was a Batman book. I found it a very entertaining read.

The forward, written by Mr. Vaughan gives all the credit to the artists and colorist, and even letterers who he thinks saved his work, but I thought the opposite was true. These are great Batman, and one Wonder Woman stories.

It's not a single narrative it's a short collection. First A three part story centering on "Matches Malone" Batman's criminal alter ego. Then (if I'm remembering this right) one-shot style story about the Mad Hatter and a Kirk Langstrom derivative. Finally a two part Wonder Woman story staring Clayface.

I would gladly buy every book DC put out at this price and this quality. Really good storytelling. And speaking of quality, the cover as well as pages are on a thick type semigloss paper. Very good comic medium. Far preferable to the phonebook type collections DC has printed so many of lately.
