Well i'm very happy to this joker toy. Its look the same in the picture. Some of the body work on the toy isn't perfect or close to the back of the box image. But it's really a nice toy.

I'm not a huge toy fanatic by any means, but I do love this Movie Masters line and I remember going on a mad hunt trying to collect the first set of Dark Knight figures during the summer of 2008. Interest faded over time, mostly due to the lack of new figures being released and poor marketing tactics on the part of Mattel, and I was pretty skeptical when I heard a new set was being developed in 2010. I just honestly thought that at this point they would never see the light of day, so I didn't get too excited. But imagine my surprise, strolling down the aisles at Toys R Us, upon turning around and seeing a whole rack of new Jokers! I may or may not have squealed like a little girl.

And let me tell you, this figure puts the first Movie Masters Joker to shame in nearly every way. The face sculpt alone has so much more detail and bears a much closer resemblance to the late Heath Ledger, and even the paint job does justice to the dark circles under his eyes and red scars around his mouth. Very clean and precise craftsmanship, I must say. The outfit and overall "look" of this figure is based off the jailhouse interrogation scene in the Dark Knight film, and great attention was paid to the detail of the clothing, from the pinstripes on his pants to the geometric pattern of his shirt. In addition to the many points of articulation on the body, I also find that this figure seems generally more in proportion than the other Joker as well, for that added touch of realism.

The current retail price for this item is reasonable for those with even a casual interest, though I have no idea about its availability or what it may be worth in the future. But collector or not, I'd recommend buying this figure anyway simply because it's cool. I also picked up the new Scarecrow at the same time (who looks way better in a slim suit than a frumpy straightjacket, even if his head is identical to the previous version's), though passed on the Nightvision Batman because he looked kinda goofy. Apparently there's also a Two-Face AND a Harvey Dent floating around out there, but I haven't seen either one in person yet.

I only bought this because my grandson requested it. It is really quite a creepy toy. It came in excellent condition, on time.
