We went through two other "boy, character" alarm clocks before finding this one for our five year old son. He loves it and knows how to work the snooze button! It is definately practical and the light up display numbers are bright and clear to read. My only complaint is that I wish it came with an AM/FM radio too. This one is a keeper!
