Batman Portable LCD DVD Player

I bought it for my nephew as a Christmas gift. The first one I received did not work, so I sent it back. This was not a problem, Amazon was extremely helpful. The second one worked just fine. My nephew said it was his favorite gift the he received, and it's likely the only one he is still using considering he is only 7 years old. Unlike "traditional" toys, he can get many years of use from it, no matter his age.

I purchased two 'Batman 3.5" LCD Portable DVD Players for $45.00 each. The picture quality is better than that of my 32" TV. Sound is great. Easy to use. "SO FAR" I have "NOT" had any problems with either of them; However, I only just got them too...so we shall see. Anyway, for $45.00 each they are a lot cheaper than buying either the Video Now players, the mini disk players, or even the JUICE BOX players. Consider this...No special disks to buy. With the others I mentioned you have to buy either PVD's, Mini Disks, or Juice Ware. Which can get expensive and can only be used with the players listed above. The kids get frusterated when they can't play the PVD's, Mini Disks, or Juice Ware on the big TV. Not a problem with the 'Batman 3.5" LCD player' you can use the DVD's on the player and in your DVD player. With the 'Batman 3.5" LCD player' you can use any DVD's you already have so that makes it cheaper in the long run as there is nothing new to buy. All in all, I consider this a good buy.

Cute and would be excellent if the battery didn't die way faster than you could even get through a movie.

We purchased the Batman Portable DVD player for our 4 year old son's Birthday. What a great purchase. We let him take it with us to the grocery store or the mall, keeps him entertained long enough for us to get done what we need to get done. He is able to operate the Player on his own, so he can change the disks as he needs to in the car, which is a big help while I am driving. Great purchase especially considering we only paid $45.00. Make sure you read the instructions and charge the battery as directed, it takes a couple of charges to get the battery to hold its full charge. I would recommend this to anyone!

I bought this for my 4 year old son for Christmas. The LCD Screen on the first one failed within 2 weeks of purchase, but the replacement that Amazon sent has operated OK. I am not satisfied with the battery capacity, however.
