Batman Fans Beware! Here is a great book!,

I don't know what the other guy who reviewed this book was talking about, but you don't need a soundtrack for this book to be good. Think: imagination, it's a wonderful thing. I'm betting that's why some people don't think this book is all that good. It does stay with the script, that's true. It's dark, no matter how you look at it: book, or movie. I love this book.

From the author that brought us the novelization of the first batman movie, come the novelization of Batman Returns. To be frank, I did't know it existed until I saw it accidentaly on a dusty shelf of a small bookshop in Leicester. Anyway, as a lover of the film, I bought it instantly. The problem with this book, as with other Batman books, is that a Batman movie is relied on the vision and the music rather than the story. As a result, the book is a little bit boring to anyone who is not a fan of the film. This book is not better or worse than the BATMAN 1989 novelization and closely follows the script of the film. It is recommended for those who loved the film, and it is best enjoyed when is read together with listening to the soundtrack.

Another competent Batman novelisation, which again suffers from the original script itself. Trying to whack two villains in together in that short a space doesn't really do justice to one or the other, and in this case it is the Penguin that draws the short straw.
That being said, the rest of it is decent enough, and you can certainly get it very cheaply now.
