I want to know what happened here. You've got two of the coolest comic book characters (outside of Marvel): Batman and Spawn. This should have been great. But it was hampered with a weak story and minimal contact between our two superheros. Even the artwork wasn't that great. Come on guys--you could have done better.

Horrible, one of the worst comic books out there,

This is a book that should have never come out. If you want to read a Batman story look into his many trade paperbacks and spawn has several too, just do not read this book, you will regret it if you do.

Not very good at all.,

I own both of the DC Batman & Spawn and the Image Batman & Spawn graphic novels, and I have to say that this is the worst one of the two. Since DC did the art and story, they obviously favored Batman over Spawn, and did a horrible job at drawing Spawn as well. They portrayed Spawn as a rather weakling who is inferior to Batman, who as stated before, is extremely bossy when the two finally meet up. I did enjoy the story line and found it to be the only redeeming quality for this graphic novel, but that's about it, everything else is pure junk.
If you like to collect Spawn comics, like myself, I would definitely get the Image version because Frank Miller and Todd Mcfarlane are two of the best graphic artists I've seen. I did buy this version for the sole purpose to add to my collection of Spawn material, but after reading it once, I have never looked at it again. Thanks DC for making Spawn look and act like a total wuss and your main, money making comic book hero steal the spot light. *cough*sarcasm*cough*
