5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent guide of the basics for anyone interested in bats!, March 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Bats of the World (A Golden Guide) (Paperback)
There is a lot of good information packed in this little book! As well as covering different bat species, this book also explains how important bats are to the ecology of our earth. I highly recommend this book to everyone!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Little Bat Primer, February 3, 2009
This review is from: Bats of the World (Paperback)
This is a great basic primer for kids or anyone looking for a simple overview of bats. It isn't really a field guide, just a survey. A much heavier scientific level of bat lore would be satisfied by Bats: Biology and Behaviour.

This review is from: Bats of the World (Paperback)
This is a really good book for teachers. It has great illustrations! Not only does it cover the different species of bats, but it also has general information about all bats. It is all you would need to create a lesson.
