This review is from: 6 Farm Bath Buddies (Toy)
I bought these for my 2-year-old niece who loves farm animals. These are more educational than fictional-type characters. She loves to tell everyone exactly what the animals are and what sounds they make. They are also great fun in the bath with the squirters. Great opportunity to mix education with fun.

Originally designed for bathtub play, we find that our grandchildren enjoy this toy even more outside the bath. They like to make stables and houses and feed the animals. They provide opportunities to learn about their names, their sounds, their food, their environments and the colors of the individual animals. They are small enough for little hands, yet not so small they can't be found in the playroom disarray. In the bath, they, of course, love the squirting aspect. Good purchase for safe and fun play.

My 2 1/2 yr old has used these on a regular basis for over a year. They are extremely durable. Even after being chewed on, they show no signs of bite marks or any other wear. I have not experienced any problems with mold or other growth inside the toy. I squeeze the water out after each use, then store in a bath toy holder with the animal's 'mouth' facing down so any excess water will drip out. I honestly dont do this every time, and it's still been fine.Great teaching tool. Used them to teach about what each animal is called, what it says. Jokingly ask 'do we eat this animal' to teach about foods. Can be quite educational. Not to mention teaching about water displacement (air replaced with water for squirting). Durable, fun, inexpensive - can't go wrong with these.
