This review is from: Batteries, Bulbs, and Wires (Young Discoverers: Science Facts and Experiments) (Paperback)
This book is a great first introduction to batteries, electricity and magnets. My son is crazy about batteries and we enjoyed doing the projects in this book, such as building a simple circuit to make a light bulb light up. We found most of the necessary items at Hobbytown USA. There are also fun activities with magnets including making a floating compass. Next we are moving on to the Klutz book.Battery Science: Make Widgets That Work and Gadgets That Go My son is 5 but is doing first grade science and math.

my son loves this book-can't wait to make a list of the items we need to start experimenting-he loves looking through it and gets excited looking at each new experiment.
