I ordered 4 of these batteries, 2 for a pearl and 2 for a curve. The batteries were advertised as new OEM, but arrived used. There were signs of wear and tear on the battery label and terminals, not to mention they had no factory packaging. They did not hold a charge. I even tried to recondition them (drain them and charge them fully) 3 times, no luck.

I emailed the seller, let them know i received dead/used batteries. They advised me they sell both new and used, and told me to recondition the batteries. They made no apology for the batteries. They gave me an RMA and I exchanged them letting the seller know I purchased new (never used batteries). I said if they can't provide me with new batteries to refund my card. The replacement batteries I received were also used.

I charged it fully and left the phone on overnight. No calls made, 1 incoming call that went to voice-mail and 12 hours later it is down almost 1/3. My 3 year old BB battery does better than that. A BB oem battery for the 8220 or 8230 is rated at 14 days standby.

To be fair this merchant's ad did state the standby time as 2 to 3 days. I did not read this the first time. However - by making that statement they are basically admitting it is either not the real deal or not a new OEM battery since it does not have the same standby time as an original battery.

Save yourself the money and aggravation and stay away.

I received the item on time. The battery was brand new. I will use amazon again for my purchases. Very good service.

I use the old Blackberry as a PDA. Needed new batteries. This works fine.

It fits my Blackberry Pearl perfectly and holds charge. Nothing else you need from a battery.

battery worked well for a few weeks, but quickly started to lose its ability to last more than a few hours. Good for the price, but if you need a battery that is going to get used alot, find another.

did i mention HORRIBLE? NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! omg, these people are full of so much filth! I had to return the battery b/c it wouldnt take the charge, DOA, and up til now as i type this i am still waiting for them to refund me lol its been nearly 2 months now. everytime i call, they tell me warehouse is big and sorting through this stuff takes a while, blah blah blah BS!

one time i called and they had me waiting for 47mins, i couldnt take it anymore and just decided to hang up. all the other times i called, they cant explain why i havent gotten my refund yet. so take it from me, spare up $30 and buy it from a t-mobile store or one of those certified resellers.

If you choose to order from them, you better pray that you order goes no less than perfect, b/c you dont wana go through what im still going thru right now.

I ordered two batteries one of them was bad and the other is not as good as the one I am replacing. Bought a Sanyo Battery that was also bad. Won't do that again.

I received this purchase within days of placing my order; everything arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with the service and product.

For the price, you can't beat it. Especially since you get 2 for that price and T-mobile tries to charge you $50 per battery! Yes, the battery life is much lower than the original battery. I can barely make a full day if I dont use the phone at all. Other than that, it works great. But do realize, this is not the full battery life you would acheive with a normal battery.
