Don't even bother. If you're looking for storage, organization this is NOT the item for you. Fresh out of the box this thing fell apart and was worthles. It falls apart everytime you open it (sides detach), the batteries fall out b/c of poor engineering, and it's CHEAPLY made. This thing has brought more frustration, and has been a huge disappointment. Spend more and get a beter designed one, or just go to the store and find one that works for you.

The batteries fall out whenever you open the case. And the case is difficult to open.

I got this for my husband to help keep his batteries neater and handier. He hates it - in fact, it ended up in the trash. The batteries don't stay in place when the case is closed unless it's completely full. It does have the tester, which I thought would be helpful, but that didn't impress him much either.

this case works well for separating the different types and sizes of batteries. Although every time you open it you have to replace all the different batteries that fall out. The pins have repeatedly fallen out of the hinges. It's just okay and I still use it, but I've also begun to place the batteries back in a drawer which is what I did before I bought the case!

It is obvious there was not much thought in the design of this product. There are different compartments for the most common types of batteries, but that is as far as the design phase went. Each compartment has an opening for you to drop in the batteries. There is no way to close the opening and so nothing to hold the batteries in place. My 9v and D batteries constantly fall out when I open it. That is when I can open it.There is small "button" you push to open the case. When the middle section is full, there are batteries pressed against the button from the inside. This makes it nearly impossible to open. I'm ready to chuck this in the trash, but there is one positive feature that is stopping me. The battery tester works well. There is a spring-load mechanism that adjusts to the different size batteries and pushes them against the testing terminals. The only battery that doesn't work this way is the 9v. You have to stand it upright, press it onto a different set of terminals and then pull back the spring-load mechanism with your other hand to engage the test. Don't waste your money. I'm going back to a plastic basket. |
