I purchased this so I could travel to NZ and Australia and always have a charged up battery for my camcorder. The charger's power supply is all voltage so it worked with 120 VAC and 230 VAC, 50 Hz or 60 Hz. I used three DB-L50 batteries, so I never had to use the camcorder to charge tha batteries. It was always ready.
The Wasbi unit worked well.
