Perfect battery for the Kodak Z 812 IS camera. I lost my Kodak KLIC 8000 battery and K-7600C charger during a trip. I firstly strived rechargeable double A's but they lasted about 15-20 pictures and then ran out of power. I got this battery on 26th of march and after the first recharge, taken a couple hundred pictures as well as several lengthy videos and it is still well charged. The battery power does not seem to leech out over time like the AA's I used. Much more cost effective than disposable and much better than other rechargeable I tried. The battery fits very nicely in the docking station and holds a charge and even the initial recharge was very fast - about 4 hours - and I haven't had to charge it yet. I am quite impressed.

I bought this 2 batteries + charger bundle like a month ago (a lot cheaper than the current price, around $14+ shipping), and so far it's worked great for my Kodak z712 IS. Each battery lasts around 180-200 pictures and at least one downloading-to-the-pc round (I have disabled the quick review function and take as many pictures without flash as I can). I only give this product 4 stars 'cause it won't bring any instructions manual, so at first you don't know what every light means (although one of them says status and the other says charge, you just don't know how they should behave) or for how long you should charge the batteries. After a few uses I've figured it out, the green charge light turns off when the charge is completed, the red 'status' light stays on all the time; I usually let the batteries charge for about six to eight hours, I get great results. Still don't know if the charger has a mechanism to avoid overcharge, I guess it does, batteries are never hot. For the price, you can't beat this product.

I had problems with the charger not charging the batteries as well. Only the red light glowed and the batteries never charged.

I found that the electrode that should contact the round metal portion of the bottom of the battery was not making contact. I was able to grab it with a pair of needle-nose pliers and bend it out a little so that it could make contact with the battery. When the charger is working the red light will be on and the green light will also glow. When the battery is charged the green light will go out and only the red light will still be glowing.

It seems like an easy fix for such major problem. It should have been made with a stronger piece of metal in there to begin with.

I ordered the batteries and charger at the end of June - and received them a little over a week later. As others have said, they come with no directions. The charge light on the charger didn't light and the status light constantly stayed red - so I kept the batteries in the charger for at least a day each - neither battery worked in my Kodak Z812 IS. Contacted Customer Service via e-mail (they are very nice and respond quickly on weekdays) and they sent out a second set of batteries. I did the same thing - only this time the charge light on the charger was green when I put the battery in - but I got the same result - neither battery worked in the camera. I contacted Customer Service again - suggested it was possibly the charger and not the batteries that wasn't working - and they agreed. The next e-mail from them said they were processing a refund for the charger. I said I thought they should refund the entire price since nothing was working - and they did (excluding shipping). Eforcity did not require that I return the charger and batteries to them. The refund took about 10 calendar days to process. Once again, Customer Service was very helpful when I e-mailed them after a week to find out why the refund hadn't been processed. The entire process took a little over a month. So, I still don't know if the problem was with the batteries, the charger or both. Interestingly, the batteries fit very tightly in the camera - I had to use tweezers to get them out. I'm not sure if this is related to the problem or not. Either way, I still need a charger and batteries because this camera eats AAs! Update: Minutes after writing this review I got an e-mail from Eforcity that they were refunding my shipping - and suggested that I change my rating. When I e-mailed back that I would prefer batteries and a charger that worked over a refund they told me the chargers were out of stock so they had to offer the refund.

I was looking for a rechargeable battery for my Kodak Z712 camera. I found this bundle and figured I would give it a try. The battery works great and the charge is fine. And the price was great!

When I purchased the Z812 I specifically asked what else I needed, and the clerk said "Nothing else, it's all in the box."

Well what was in the box was a disposable battery and no charger, so I checked Kodak's site and then price shopped at Amazon, this was by far the best price for exactly the same item. For the cost of the camera the least Kodak could have done is thrown in a rechargable battery. Five stars for this product 1 star for Kodak's cheapskate nickle and dime attitude.

I bought this just before our vacation to California. I have the Kodak Z812IS which was eating through double AA batteries like crazy. As much as I love the camera, I was considering returning it just because of its battery issues. When I saw this product, I figured I'd give it a try. I'm very happy with the results. I bought the charger and an extra battery. So I now have 3 re-chargeable batteries. It holds it charge for at least 100 pictures if not more. Which is still not what I would expect, but I love the camera and the quality of the pictures. I don't blame this on the charger or the re-chargeable batteries...as it's obviously an issue with this type of camera. So I'm rating the charger high as well as the batteries!

This charger and batteries work great with my camera. I only needed to use one battery for my vacation pictures and took over 150 shots.

Although this product works fine, there were no instructions included in the box. The green light comes on when charging begins and the red light comes on when it is done charging which is backwards from other chargers I have used. The green light is barely visible.
