The adapter worked fine for 2 months and then just stopped charging the battery. Wrote to the manufacturer who wanted me to ship the item back at my cost so they could 'test' it. It was not worth my time and money - found another adapter that works from ebay. I guess you do get what you pay for. Would not recommend.

My Dell XPS M1330 Laptop was experiencing the normal "The AC Power Adapter Type Cannot Be Determined" error that is associated with the notorious "Dell Dallas Chip Issue." I was not about to buy another power supply from Dell. So I went on line and gave this item a try. Not only did it immediately start recharging my battery, it appears to run no hotter than my old Dell Power Adapter and cost me only a little over $3.28 v. Dell's $65.99 charge for a new one.
Note when I tried to talk to Dell about this issue which 3 of their technicians failed to resolve the issue. One tried to play it off as if my battery was not working correctly. Even after I had told them about the problem and that a different Dell power supply that I had borrowed from a friend was able to recharge my battery. I will never buy another Dell product again, but this AC Power Adapter is fantastic.
