I bought this battery to replace the dead one in an old laptop that I gave to a friend in need. Fast shipping and boom, working laptop.

We ordered this battery a few months ago to replace a completely useless battery with maybe 15 minute capacity. It definitely works better than our old battery however, the battery does not 'fully' charge, meaning, the computer never gets to 100% charged. It always stops at about 85%. We have learned to just watch for this percentage and then unplug but that seems less helpful than a full charge and it is impossible to see if the charge is full unless the computer is on.

This isn't worth returning the product since we still have a way longer battery life than we did before and the price was low but it is something to keep in mind when buying a replacement battery.

Charged it 100% first then drained it. I repeated this 3 times over 3 days and I get 2 hours 10 minutes on this battery! It comes with a 1 year warranty but I hope I never have to use that! :o)

The bottom line - the battery ran well for just over a year before dying out. After 14 months the battery began to swell up and had to be pried out of the battery compartment. Safe? No, if I had not checked it for my father it would have likely leaked or worse - exploded. This battery is the reason I personally avoid aftermarket laptop batteries.

I spent $32 on a battery that simply does not work. I gues you get what you pay for. If I unplug the laptop, it completely shuts off and loses everything. Defeats the purpose of a laptop.

Because the price was too good to be true, I wasn't sure that it would be good. I'm pleased because the battery works very well.

Battery arrived on time, worked great, price was perfect, could not be happier with it. If only all battery replacements could be priced like this, and serviced like this.

First one didn't work. Fast arrangements to replace, although some pretty silly questions were asked.

Replacement works fine. Not as good as original but decent price. Fine service.

I purchased this battery to replace the one that came in my old HP notebook. The HP battery was junk: it never worked right (probably should have returned it as defective) and hasn't worked at all for a long time. Happily, I put this battery into the notebook and it powered up the computer out of the box. After running for a while with A/C, Windows showed the battery was fully charged (100%).

I haven't had the battery long, but so far I am very pleased with it. So far the battery life seems good, but I haven't thoroughly tested that yet. I wasn't sure about the quality of an aftermarket battery at such a low price (took a chance since it is an old notebook that isn't used very much), but it is comparable to the original HP battery in every way.
