I went to a Batteries+ store looking for a battery for an ancient but still usefull laptop that I planned on just messing around with. They had the battery in stock which I thought was a fantastic stroke of good fortune. Fortune was right. I almost passed out when I found out how much they were charging. I grabbed my phone and logged into Amazon Mobile and ordered this battery before I even left the parking lot.

All LION batteries lose capacity over time. This one is average in that respect. The battery is a good value because the loss of capacity is gradual. By comparison, a less expensive battery from another supplier lost capacity so quickly that is was unusable within a month.This battery is a reasonable value for the price.

Ordered replacement battery for Dell Inspiron 5100 laptap. Inserted into computer, and battery light flashed green/amber.Booted computer and received error reading: This system does not support the battery pack currently installed. Supported battery packs must have at least 6450 mAH(96WH) capacity. This system cannot run from or charge this battery pack. Pulled new battery out and compared to old Dell battery. Old battery has 6450mAH printed on it, just like the one in the picture shown on Amazon listing. The new battery has 5200 mAH on it. Returning to Amazon for refund. No hassle so far.
