I purchased a battery from here and it stopped working correctly. I contacted the company within the correct period and they lead me on until it was out of the so called warranty period. Now they will not help with the lemon of a battery.DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

I recieved my battery on 12/16, and immediately it was defective. I have e-mailed Power_Direct several times and either it takes them 3 to 5 days to get back to me, and they do not read what you have to say. I asked them to provide me a call tag or contact me directly to ship the battery back and they clearly avoided my request. In fact Ken one of the workers spent more time trying to tell me what I am not doing rather than answer my e-mail I sent him on Monday. It's now Saturday and I am still at square on. Be weary of buying any batteries from Power_Direct since they clearly do not work. I have opened a claim with Amazon and should get my money back that way.

When the battery arrived the instructions indicated that the battery would need to be charged before it could be used, however it had almost a full charge when I installed it in the laptop. Ran it for a couple hours and then plugged in to recharge. The battery charged quickly and retains a good charge. I would say this battery lasts almost as long as the OEM. I would recommend this battery to others!
