I purchased 4 of these batteries to replace old ones in my Vtech I5881 phones. They hold a charge for less than an hour. 2 of them won't even charge at all. Seeing as my expandable phone system ( in perfect condition) is no longer available and I cannot find batteries, I had to order a whole new set of phones after spending nearly $44 on worthless batteries!
Don't waste your money!

I bought a set to replace my 5 year old Vtech batteries. I made the mistake of throwing the old one away. The life of these new batteries are terrible. They don't last nearly as long as the originals that were 5 years old. Amazon was great and sent replacements right away. Sorry to say they are no better. I ordered 4 more from Vtech Direct and will return these as soon as the OEM arrive.

Bought this battery to replace the original which no longer held a charge. This battery is not much better than the battery I've had for years. I charged it as instructed but it does not hold a charge for very long. I would not recommend this battery as it is not an original v-tech battery and it does not hold a charge for much longer than my old battery.

I purchased this item as a replacement battery for my Motorola MD671 cordless telephone handset.

The battery fits the battery enclosure of the handset (barely... doesn't fit perfectly) but it will not operate the handset. Power seems to be getting through, but even after leaving it in the cradle over-night it will not operate the handset. The handset flashes "Motorola" as the other battery does when it first initializes, but it will not proceed with the initialization of the handset beyond that, nor does the handset work.

My review is to NOT buy this item if you have a Motorola MD671 cordless telephone.

This battery absolutely did not work, thought I was getting a good deal but it is junk and I'll just have to buy the more expensive one. I take the cordless phone off the charging dock and after about 2 minutes it goes dead.

The only reason I bought this was because it was the only battery for my cordless phone that was shipped with Amazon Prime. Big mistake. Don't waste your money on this battery. It lasted about 9 months of decent charge. Now my phone beeps that the battery is low after 5 minutes of use, even after sitting on the charger all day.

Battery fit and worked well from the get-go. Usually with products like these the longevity is the difference between this and the recommended brand. My phone: Motorola MD-671 also bought on Amazon.

I replaced dying batteries in 2 Vtech phones with these batteries and have had no problems with life. Even if it doesn't last quite as long (which I haven't noticed), I'd much rather spend $3 on this replacement battery than $20 at Best Buy.

unfortunately i am way past the return window, but if it will prevent others making the same mistake....this battery does not fit into the AT&T 5840 base station, back-up battery slot. The slide out battery compartment will not close with this battery in it, so it is a little too deep. It will fit into a handset though, i just tried it.

The batteries replaced those that no longer held a charge in my Vtech phones. Easy to install. Fit and work perfectly.
