I look for a long time to find the perfect motion detecter night light. It comes on when enter the bathroom and stays on until I move and leave the restroom...PERFECT

This was my first attempt at getting a motion activated battery operated light for a hallway in my home, that has no electrical outlets. It worked beautifully, for about 20 minutes. After that, the light just stayed on constantly...night and day. Removed the batteries, waited a bit, replaced and repeat. Same outcome. Not worth the time or effort. Perhaps I got a faulty unit, but I won't be trying another to find out. Go with another item.

On a side note, printed on the back of the packaging was, "Harbor Freight Tools". In my experience, not a sign of high quality.

We placed the motion sensor light down a long hallway approximately 30 feet from the exit door. The light works every time and does exactly what we expected it to do.
