This amazing ride on car is equipped with two seats, mirrors, head light, a sound and seat belts. Fit children from 3 to 8 years old. Powered by two powerful motors and controlled by a realistic foot accelerator pedal . This reliable 12V jeep can achieve a top speed of 6 km/h.2-speed forward and reverse. After assembling this jeep (which was actually not that bad using the youtube video sent to me from the retailer), the size of the seat is only 16 inches wide, which would not fit my 2 and 1 year old side by side. We specifically were looking for something the 2 of them could ride in together and would last them a few years as they grew up. This would not work. We did not get to try the remote feature, which was the other big reason we wanted this item. According to the video, the remote only works if all the switches in the jeep console are in the right positions, which probably would not work with our kids since they love to push bottons and switches. So, this product actually fell short of our needs and expectations. The retailer let us return the item with a 10% restocking fee, and we had to pay for the shipping. I would not reccomend this product because the remote feature is not controlled by the remote (switch in jeep toggles between remote and manual modes).
update: after some discussion, we decided to keep the product. The seller was extremely easy to work with. Although both our boys cannot ride in it at the same time, they enjoy all the extra interactive items like the noise buttons on the steering wheel. My youngest (1 year old) can actually reach the pedal on this car versus others (he still needs to learn when to stop and some steering). My oldest likes to ride and not have to worry about pushing the gas and steering, so this works out. There is a delay in the forward and reverse when using the remote. The steering is slow using the remote (seems like the servo for the steering is a little under powered). It goes pretty fast, and there is no throttle (either full gas or stop) which makes stopping and going jerky.
