This charger sparks whenever I put it in the outlet, and it came with a part not completely attached to itself, that I had to figure out how to snap back in. I wrote to the seller and he didn't respond for several days, at which point his response was something along the lines of "we don't sell any other charger," with no further offer to assist me. I understand that this item is very inexpensive, and I guess I got what I paid for. Would not buy again - this item or from this seller.

Update 03/2011: seller asked me to remove this review, and when I didn't, s/he somehow managed to get it deleted. As you can see, it is specific and not inflammatory, though it is negative, and I don't understand why it was allowed to be removed. I'm posting it again now and hope it remains visible.

No quality issues what-so-ever. Charges in the house AND in the car unlike the Canon charger that the camera ships with. I lost the original charger in Vegas, go figure, and ordered this. Works with my Canon PowerShot SD780 IS battery (aftermarket battery because I lost the battery in Vegas as well). That is the only camera battery I've tried it with so I can't advise on anything else. Hope this helps. It is solid as far as I'm concerned. Had it for 4 months.

I was sloppy when ordering, and for a change I got more than what I expected. The car charger is a great added bonus, and the charger works. And the price was great. Nuff said.

Product arrived on time and in good working condition.
Now I can charge my camera battery either in the car or in any household outlet.

The product doesnt look cheap. It is an OK piece for the price. I just have used them on a few occassions and charging takes a little more than the original Canon charger. You guys can also try purchasing a car inverter so that you can charge batterry as well as for other purposes. But for the price this one holds good.

Lost the original charger and figured I'd find it when I bought a new one. No luck but this is a great value and if the need arises, buy it. I should have ordered more than one.

The pro's: cheap, small size, car adapter, stow-able outlet plugs, & charging/charged indicator.
The con's: Cheaply made. I have to jiggle the battery in the slot in order to get a solid connection. The indicator light is a little confusing. Does red or green mean that it is charging or that it is charged?

I lost my canon digital camera's original charger.
I searched around for a replacement. I noticed there were so many different type of chargers and the price difference was huge. I decided to go with this one. because it was cheapest one .. and it works well.
Actually, it charges my camera battery faster than the original charger.

Awesome!!!! can't complain.

Products performed as advertised. Took on vacation and served well as a backup battery. Used several times with no problems.

This charge is better than what came with the camera...it has a car charger plug included....and works just as good...price in 1/3 of factory unit
