Works perfectly. I was glad to be able to replace the battery and extend the life of my appliance.

I have had the Portable Waterpik for more than 15 years. It's great when traveling. There are long intervals between trips and on the last trip, it just wouldn't power up, even after charging. I assumed it was a bad battery. Replaced the battery with the one purhcased here. Put the volt meter on the charger and on the battery. (Should have done that before buying a new battery.) Both were perfect, but the Waterpik was still dead. I figured rather than just throw the unit in the garbage, open it and see if anything jumps off the page. Sure enough the mechanical on-off switch contacts had beoome oxidized. A bit of emory boarding and the oxydation was removed. It purrrs along fine now. Probably never needed a new battery, but after 15 years, who's complaining. The battery is fine and as represented. Only reason for three stars is that I don't know how well it will hold up in the future.

This was a terrific find for me. I was on line to try to find a new travel WaterPic by Teledyne. Instead I found a replacement battery for the 350W Travel model.
I installed it and my old one is saved from the landfill !!
It is operating great.

This battery is a perfect replacement for the original battery of the WaterPik 350W. Although it is now discontinued, this battery made the WaterpIK come back to life. It keeps a charge long and well and I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The battery works in my travel water pik. since i don't use it that often, when i got back from my trip, i charged it, then removed it and put it in the refrigerator, which helps to keep batteries lasting longer. the original battery lasted 6 years. i'm curious to see how long this one will work.

2.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced, no solder tabs, August 27, 2011
This review is from: Battery for WaterPik 350W travel model. (Kitchen)
The battery pack is two 4/5 Sub-C NiCd cells in series.

Two cells with solder tabs, plus postage, is about a third of the cost of this cell.

Since you have to solder the leads onto the battery anyway, there's really no difference in picking up the 2 cells separately. Just wrap in clear tape (or shrink tube) when you're done.

Plus, the picture on this battery doesn't show solder tabs. Unless you're good, I wouldn't recommend trying to solder wires onto a chemical cell without solder tabs.

1.0 out of 5 stars Battery didn't fit, July 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Battery for WaterPik 350W travel model. (Kitchen)
This battery is slightly larger than the battery in my travel waterpik, so was unusable. It arrived the day before we were leaving for a 3 month journey so I didn't even have time to return it.
