Battle Athletes Victory: Spaceward Ho! is the fourth volume in the Battle Athletes Victory anime series. This series is set way in the future and takes place on Earth and in space. Akari Kanzaki is the daughter of a famous Cosmo Beauty. Living in her mother's shadow has left her very insecure. With the help of her friends, and her athletic rivals, Akari is becoming more sure of herself.

In Spaceward Ho, Akari is taking the space shuttle to University Satellite, when it is hijacked by some strange hijackers. But will the hijackers be a match for the strange students? Akari meets a girl named Kris who instantly falls in love with her and pledges her undying love. Akari freaks out when she finds out that Kris is going to be her roomate and teamate as they try for the preliminaries. Akari's other roommate/teamate is a shy girl named Anna. Anna is like Akari when she first started. Kris comes from a hippie culture with a laid-back lifestyle. How can Akari rally her teammates to win?

I love this volume because the headmaster is such a total hunk. I am so in love with him! He also has some pretty amazing athletic ability - or is it something more?

Akari Kanzaki is on her way to the University Satellite with her classmates Jessie Gurtland and Tanya Natdhipytadd. Akari is late for her flight to the University. On her way there she runs into a young lady named Kris Christopher, at this exact point everything starts to go crazy for Miss Kanzaki. Akari makes it to the ship just in time. During the flight three very strange men hijacked the ship. They are trying to meet these imaginary aliens that they read in a book, with a little quick thinking the girls were able to take control of the ship. The rescue team from the University starts transferring the girls to the rescue ship, but the ship starts to head towards the University on a collision course, while Akari and Kris are still on the ship. This is were you get to see how strong the Headmaster is, he is able to stop the ship from colliding into the University and saving the girls. Upon arriving at the University Akari heads to her room to meet here new teammates, Her new teammates are Kris Christopher and Anna Respighi. Well this is were I will let you find out how they did in the games. I will tell you that this is the funniest of the fist four volumes.
