This review is from: Battle Atlas of the Falklands War 1982 by Land, Sea and Air (Paperback)
This book is a must if you are reading any of the other books on the Falklands War. When a book mentions a place during the war, use this book to find the location and other information that happened at that location. Unless you were there this book is a must companion while reading other books on the Falklands War.

An Excellent Campanion Text,

This review is from: Battle Atlas of the Falklands War 1982 by Land, Sea and Air (Paperback)
This book presents non-nonsense facts, statistics, maps and commentary in relation to the activities of the British and Argentines during the Falkland's War of 1982.For anyone interested to learn about this brief, but bloody and futile, conflict this book alone would not suffice; it is written to be, and is, an excellent and informative companion for almost any other standard text on the Falklands War. The only complaint I have is that the maps often cross two pages (and the spine interferes with the clarity) and that shading would have been useful (eg land vs water) given the terrain and coastline is extremely unpredictable. Otherwise, an excellent source of data and detail. |
