This review is from: Battle Cries on the Home Front: Violence in the Military Family (Paperback)
After reading all the stories on returning soldiers killing their spouses I wanted more information on the "whys." Do we teach these soldiers to kill and then not help them when they need it the most? Wonder why soldiers never go for help?

Are military families one of the most dysfunctional in the world?

The book tells the individual stories of families who are involved in domestic violence, alcohol, affairs and plain "meaness." How do we get to a point that we want to kill spouses or children? A must read book for all, especially professionals and health field students.
